The effects most commonly reported for this cultivar are relaxed, sleepy, happy. At 24% THC it sits in a bracket where the dose does most of the work. A single bowl vaporised at 185°C gives a manageable body relaxation with your head still intact — enough to close out a long day in the summer heat. Push the dose and it moves decisively toward physical sedation, which is how it tends to end up as a winter evening cultivar. The Myrcene/Humulene pairing leaves an earthy sweetness with a fruit finish on the palate.

Where it fits: quiet evenings, a film, recovery after exercise, and the hours before sleep.

Leading with Myrcene, then Humulene, and Linalool underneath. Read across a cure, these three compounds do not stay in the same order. Fresh off the dry, myrcene leads. After three or four weeks in sealed glass at 16-18°C the linalool undertone comes up and the bouquet gains a layer it did not have at harvest. Vaporising between 180°C and 195°C captures the widest span of them — run it hotter and the volatile linalool molecules are the first thing you lose.

Alpine Star is a reasonable fit for growers with the basics already in place. Understand pH, know roughly what nutrient ratios do, and be able to hold a light cycle — it will not carry you, but it does not punish the occasional slip either. Photoperiod genetics leave size and timing in your hands — hold it in veg for a bigger plant, or flip early when headroom is the constraint.
