About Harlequin CBD Feminised

Will Harlequin CBD handle a South African summer outdoors? Yes. Put this 43/57 cbd in the ground between September and November and you will be cutting from March to May. The balanced genetics take what the country gives them, from coastal humidity in KwaZulu-Natal through to dry Karoo heat. Bloom runs 55-60 days, placing harvest between March and May across most provinces.

What yield is realistic? 500-550 g/m2 indoors is reachable under decent LED with steady feeding. Outdoors, 300-450 g/plant a plant is normal in 50 litre pots or straight into prepared ground in full sun. At 15% THC with myrcene in front, the return on effort is good.

How much can go wrong before it shows? Some. Anyone who understands pH, a feeding schedule and a light cycle will be fine. Neglect it entirely and it will suffer, but a single missed watering will not undo the grow.

Further Questions from South African Growers

Which medium suits it best? Depends what you are optimising for. Organic soil cut with 30% perlite and amended with bone meal, rock phosphate and kelp meal gives the fuller flavour, and all three are stocked by garden centres, agricultural co-ops and hydro shops countrywide. Coco under automated fertigation at EC 1.4-1.8 through bloom gives the bigger number. This cbd genetics performs in either.

Does it cope with real summer heat? Well enough, on hybrid vigour. Keep the root zone under 28°C with mulch or pale pots, and do not transplant during a heatwave.

When do I switch to bloom feed? As soon as pistils show, not a fortnight later. The 43/57 genetics changes its demand sharply at the transition: phosphorus and potassium uptake rises while nitrogen demand falls away. Soil growers can top-dress with guano and sulphate of potash; coco and hydro growers should move to a low-N, high-PK formula immediately.

Indoors or outdoors? Indoors buys control over the 55-60 days environment. Outdoors, across a September-to-May season, gives you sunlight intensity no LED at any price reproduces, and the full 300-450 g/plant. Difficulty: intermediate. In flower for 55-60 days. Stands 70-90 cm. Indoors it returns 500-550 g/m2. Outdoors, 300-450 g/plant a plant.

Aroma, Flavour and Effect

The first thing Harlequin CBD does at 15% THC is coat the palate with a deep, musky earthiness. The focused, calm effects follow within minutes, across head and body at once. Thinking stays clear while muscle tension drains off, which leaves the dose as the deciding factor — light for the afternoon, heavier and it moves into the evening without a jolt. Bisabolol sits underneath all of it, adding a complementary note that adds depth.

The Aromatic Three

Leading with Myrcene, then Bisabolol, and Linalool underneath. How this combination survives the move from flower to vapour or smoke is not a given. Held low, at 180-188°C, the bisabolol and linalool notes stay legible with myrcene underneath them. Run it hotter, or burn it, and the three collapse into one — still pleasant, but without the separation that makes this cultivar worth paying attention to.

Suitability and Recommendations

Who does well with Harlequin CBD? Indoor growers who want the harvest date to be their decision. Outdoor growers who want to choose the moment flowering starts. Anyone with the room and the patience to veg it properly before flipping. It is rated intermediate, which in practice means a moderate learning curve that rewards attention without needing laboratory conditions. Sent nationwide in plain, unbranded packaging, with sourced grow data on every strain page.

CBD-Stabilised Line (F4) — recessive cannabinoid fixing
Stabilisation Notes — What This Means for Your Grow

CBD-dominance does not stabilise in one or two generations. Harlequin has been progressed through four cycles of selection at Royal King Genetics until the CBD:THC ratio expressed uniformly across the population.

Breeding Goal

Lock CBD-dominance in Harlequin through four rounds of selection.

Selection Focus

Chosen for CBD-dominance, cannabinoid ratio uniformity and a clean therapeutic terpene profile.

Pollen / Mother Source

Royal King Genetics in-house mother stock — pollen taken from a sibling male drawn from the same selected pheno population.
