About Lamb's Bread Feminised

Days 1 to 14, seed to fourth node: Expect Lamb's Bread to crack in roughly 48 hours on damp paper towel and to break soil by day three. Early growth runs upward quickly, narrow first leaves already reaching. Look for five nodes by day 14 with obvious gaps between them, which is the sativa pattern showing early. Damping off is rare if you hold near 70% humidity through this stage.

Weeks 3 to 6, building the frame: This is the point where it tries to get away from you. Start low-stress training in week three, bend the main stem over at 90 degrees in week four, and the secondaries will draw level for a flat canopy by week six without topping at all.

Bloom, weeks 1 to 14: The 10/90 character becomes obvious here. Limonene usually shows in week three and strengthens from there, with trichome cover visible without a loupe from about week five. Indoor yield: 400 g/m2. Height: 150 cm. Tested at 20% THC. Difficulty: intermediate.

Bloom Through to Jar

Weeks 4 to 6. This is where the plant stops looking like a frame and starts looking like a crop. Buds keep extending lengthwise rather than filling out, stacking fresh calyxes along the stems. Secondary branches often out-produce expectations here, since the open frame lets light down to sites a denser plant would simply have covered.

Weeks 12 to 14, ripening. Drop to plain water for the final ten days. The limonene carry gets strong enough that carbon filtration stops being optional in a residential street. Trichomes run clear to milky across the last fortnight, amber showing on sugar leaves before it reaches the calyxes; around 15% amber on the calyxes themselves is a common place to cut.

Drying and curing. Whole-plant hang in the dark at 17°C and 58% humidity for roughly 12 days — when stems snap instead of bending, it is ready for glass. Burp twice daily for the first fortnight, then once daily through weeks three and four. Finished weight should land near the 400 g/m2 estimate. The pinene note comes through markedly stronger after curing than it did at harvest, which is the clearest evidence that a cure builds flavour rather than merely preserving it.

Difficulty: intermediate. In flower for 12-14 weeks. Stands 150 cm. Indoors it returns 400 g/m2. Outdoors, Up to 400 g/plant a plant. Feminised seeds.

Aroma, Flavour and Effect

The first thing Lamb's Bread does at 20% THC is lift it with a bright, nearly effervescent citrus. The energetic, euphoric, happy effects follow within minutes, as a sharpening rather than a lift: colour reads more saturated, music holds more detail, conversation wanders further than it would have. It runs two to three hours on a plateau instead of a peak, so nothing drops out from under you at the end. Pinene sits underneath all of it, adding an alertness that keeps thinking crisp.

The Aromatic Three

Leading with Limonene, then Pinene, and Terpinolene underneath. How this combination survives the move from flower to vapour or smoke is not a given. Held low, at 180-188°C, the pinene and terpinolene notes stay legible with limonene underneath them. Run it hotter, or burn it, and the three collapse into one — still pleasant, but without the separation that makes this cultivar worth paying attention to.

Suitability and Recommendations

Who does well with Lamb's Bread? Indoor growers who want the harvest date to be their decision. Outdoor growers who want to choose the moment flowering starts. Anyone with the room and the patience to veg it properly before flipping. It is rated intermediate, which in practice means a moderate learning curve that rewards attention without needing laboratory conditions. Sent nationwide in plain, unbranded packaging, with sourced grow data on every strain page.
