Royal King Genetics — Seed-Lot Testing

Figures below come from our own seed-lot testing rather than breeder marketing, taken from a single batch tested 2026-03-02 on 250 seeds.

Germination rate: 97.8% (n=250)
Last QC test date: 2026-03-02
Indoor yield: 441-604 g/m² (avg across 17 verified grower reports)
Outdoor yield: 511-856 g/plant (avg across 8 verified grower reports)

About Mother’s Helper Feminised

The way to plan Mother’s Helper is backwards from the day you intend to cut, with Up to 450g/m² per square metre indoors and Up to 550 gr per plant outdoors as the figures you are working toward, at 20% THC. Count 55-65 days back from that date and you have your flip date. Weight comes on evenly across 55-65 days, with a late surge that punishes impatience. The 49/51 balance gives you stacking density and broad trichome cover together. Outdoors, late March to late April is the sweet spot — after the summer humidity has broken, before the first Highveld frost.

Where the Weight Actually Comes From

Yield on Mother’s Helper — the Up to 450g/m² indoors and Up to 550 gr outdoors quoted above — is decided in three short stretches of the 55-65 days bloom rather than evenly across it.

The first ten days after the flip. Whatever stretch happens here sets your canopy, and an uneven canopy wastes light for the remainder of the grow. Stretch of 30-40% is normal. One round of low-stress training on the tallest shoots levels it out.

Weeks three to five. This is when myrcene production climbs, and it answers to the gap between day and night temperature rather than to either number on its own. Keep at least 6-8°C between them. Outdoor growers in the interior provinces get that swing free in March and April; indoors, aim for 25-26°C lights-on against 18-20°C lights-off, with potassium-led bloom feed at EC 1.6-1.8.

The last ten to fourteen days. Stop feeding, flush with pH-corrected water, and read trichomes daily under a 60x loupe. Cut at 10-15% amber to keep both sides of the hybrid in play. Outdoors that usually lands between late March and mid-April.

Difficulty: easy. In flower for 55-65 days. Stands 80–120 cm. Indoors it returns Up to 450g/m². Outdoors, Up to 550 gr a plant.

What Mother’s Helper Is Like to Use

The effects most commonly reported for this cultivar are relaxed, focused, calm. At 20% THC it sits in a bracket where flexibility is the point. Lower doses read clear and functional in the morning, higher doses read relaxed in the evening. Because the 49/51 split is even, direction is set by how much you take rather than fixed by the genetics. The Myrcene/Limonene pairing leaves an earthy sweetness with a fruit finish on the palate.

Where it fits: most occasions, with the dose adjusted to whatever the situation asks for.

The Aromatic Three

Leading with Myrcene, then Limonene, and Pinene underneath. How this combination survives the move from flower to vapour or smoke is not a given. Held low, at 180-188°C, the limonene and pinene notes stay legible with myrcene underneath them. Run it hotter, or burn it, and the three collapse into one — still pleasant, but without the separation that makes this cultivar worth paying attention to.

Suitability and Recommendations

Mother’s Helper is a reasonable fit for growers with the basics already in place. Understand pH, know roughly what nutrient ratios do, and be able to hold a light cycle — it will not carry you, but it does not punish the occasional slip either. Photoperiod genetics leave size and timing in your hands — hold it in veg for a bigger plant, or flip early when headroom is the constraint. A September-to-May outdoor season comfortably covers a 55-65 days bloom in the frost-free provinces. Posted discreetly anywhere in South Africa, with sourced grow figures shown on every strain page.
