Will OG’s Pearl handle a South African summer outdoors? Yes. Put this 73/27 indica in the ground between September and November and you will be cutting from March to May. What yield is realistic? 150–250 g/m² indoors is reachable under decent LED with steady feeding. Outdoors, 400–600 g/plant a plant is normal in 50 litre pots or straight into prepared ground in full sun. At 17% THC with myrcene in front, the return on effort is good.

How much can go wrong before it shows? Some. Anyone who understands pH, a feeding schedule and a light cycle will be fine. Neglect it entirely and it will suffer, but a single missed watering will not undo the grow.

Which medium suits it best? Depends what you are optimising for. Organic soil cut with 30% perlite and amended with bone meal, rock phosphate and kelp meal gives the fuller flavour, and all three are stocked by garden centres, agricultural co-ops and hydro shops countrywide. When do I switch to bloom feed? As soon as pistils show, not a fortnight later. The 73/27 genetics changes its demand sharply at the transition: phosphorus and potassium uptake rises while nitrogen demand falls away. Soil growers can top-dress with guano and sulphate of potash; coco and hydro growers should move to a low-N, high-PK formula immediately.
