About Platinum Wreck Feminised
Days 1 to 14, seed to fourth node: Expect Platinum Wreck to crack in roughly 48 hours on damp paper towel and to break soil by day three. Early growth runs upward quickly, narrow first leaves already reaching. Look for five nodes by day 14 with obvious gaps between them, which is the sativa pattern showing early. Damping off is rare if you hold near 70% humidity through this stage.
Weeks 3 to 6, building the frame: This is the point where it tries to get away from you. Start low-stress training in week three, bend the main stem over at 90 degrees in week four, and the secondaries will draw level for a flat canopy by week six without topping at all.
Bloom, weeks 1 to 65: The 25/75 character becomes obvious here. Pinene usually shows in week three and strengthens from there, with trichome cover visible without a loupe from about week five. Indoor yield: up to 500 g/m2. Height: Short. Tested at 16% THC. Difficulty: easy.
Bloom Through to Jar
Weeks 4 to 6. This is where the plant stops looking like a frame and starts looking like a crop. Buds keep extending lengthwise rather than filling out, stacking fresh calyxes along the stems. Secondary branches often out-produce expectations here, since the open frame lets light down to sites a denser plant would simply have covered.
Weeks 63 to 65, ripening. Drop to plain water for the final ten days. The pinene carry gets strong enough that carbon filtration stops being optional in a residential street. Trichomes run clear to milky across the last fortnight, amber showing on sugar leaves before it reaches the calyxes; around 15% amber on the calyxes themselves is a common place to cut.
Drying and curing. Whole-plant hang in the dark at 17°C and 58% humidity for roughly 12 days — when stems snap instead of bending, it is ready for glass. Burp twice daily for the first fortnight, then once daily through weeks three and four. Finished weight should land near the up to 500 g/m2 estimate. The limonene note comes through markedly stronger after curing than it did at harvest, which is the clearest evidence that a cure builds flavour rather than merely preserving it.
Difficulty: easy. In flower for 55-65 days. Stands Short. Indoors it returns up to 500 g/m2. Outdoors, up to 500 g/plant a plant. Feminised seeds.
Aroma, Flavour and Effect
The first thing Platinum Wreck does at 16% THC is arrive clean and resinous, like a pine plantation in the mist belt after rain. The happy, relaxed, uplifted effects follow within minutes, as a sharpening rather than a lift: colour reads more saturated, music holds more detail, conversation wanders further than it would have. It runs two to three hours on a plateau instead of a peak, so nothing drops out from under you at the end. Limonene sits underneath all of it, adding a brightness that offsets any heaviness.
The Aromatic Three
Leading with Pinene, then Limonene, and Caryophyllene underneath. This trio turns up repeatedly in cultivars that win things, and it is why a jar of Platinum Wreck tends to get a reaction the first time it is opened after curing. Pinene sets the anchor, limonene fills the middle, and caryophyllene sits in the background doing the work that separates this from every other strain built on the same primary terpene.
Suitability and Recommendations
Who does well with Platinum Wreck? Indoor growers who want the harvest date to be their decision. Outdoor growers who want to choose the moment flowering starts. Anyone with the room and the patience to veg it properly before flipping. It is rated easy, which in practice means a moderate learning curve that rewards attention without needing laboratory conditions. Sent nationwide in plain, unbranded packaging, with sourced grow data on every strain page.
