Will The OX handle a South African summer outdoors? Yes. Put this 83/17 indica in the ground between September and November and you will be cutting from March to May. What yield is realistic? Medium indoors is reachable under decent LED with steady feeding. Outdoors, Medium a plant is normal in 50 litre pots or straight into prepared ground in full sun. At 22% THC with caryophyllene in front, the return on effort is good.

How much can go wrong before it shows? Some. Anyone who understands pH, a feeding schedule and a light cycle will be fine. Neglect it entirely and it will suffer, but a single missed watering will not undo the grow.

Which medium suits it best? Depends what you are optimising for. Organic soil cut with 30% perlite and amended with bone meal, rock phosphate and kelp meal gives the fuller flavour, and all three are stocked by garden centres, agricultural co-ops and hydro shops countrywide. The 83/17 genetics changes its demand sharply at the transition: phosphorus and potassium uptake rises while nitrogen demand falls away. Soil growers can top-dress with guano and sulphate of potash; coco and hydro growers should move to a low-N, high-PK formula immediately.

The first thing The OX does at 22% THC is settle a warm peppery spice at the back of the throat.
