About Industrial Plant Auto
The way to plan Industrial Plant is backwards from the day you intend to cut, with 300-500 g/m2 per square metre indoors and 25-100 g/plant per plant outdoors as the figures you are working toward, at 18% THC. Count 70 days seed to harvest back from that date and you have your flip date. This one does not dump its weight in a fortnight the way a short indica will; it adds through the whole bloom. Growers who panic about autumn rain and chop a fortnight early routinely hand back a fifth of the crop. Depending on your province the honest window runs from late March into May, and the limonene-led profile only arrives in the last fourteen days.
Where the Weight Actually Comes From
Yield on Industrial Plant — the 300-500 g/m2 indoors and 25-100 g/plant outdoors quoted above — is decided in three short stretches of the 70 days seed to harvest bloom rather than evenly across it.
The first ten days after the flip. Whatever stretch happens here sets your canopy, and an uneven canopy wastes light for the remainder of the grow. Stretch runs to 50-60% of pre-flower height. Supercrop anything breaking the canopy line inside the first week or you will be lighting empty air.
Weeks three to five. This is when limonene production climbs, and it answers to the gap between day and night temperature rather than to either number on its own. Keep at least 6-8°C between them. Outdoor growers in the interior provinces get that swing free in March and April; indoors, aim for 25-26°C lights-on against 18-20°C lights-off, with potassium-led bloom feed at EC 1.6-1.8.
The last ten to fourteen days. Stop feeding, flush with pH-corrected water, and read trichomes daily under a 60x loupe. Cut at 5-10% amber, before the clear-headed character starts sliding toward sedation. Outdoors that usually lands between late March and mid-April.
Difficulty: intermediate. In flower for 70 days seed to harvest. Stands 120 cm. Indoors it returns 300-500 g/m2. Outdoors, 25-100 g/plant a plant.
Aroma, Flavour and Effect
The first thing Industrial Plant does at 18% THC is lift it with a bright, nearly effervescent citrus. The creative, calm effects follow within minutes, as a sharpening rather than a lift: colour reads more saturated, music holds more detail, conversation wanders further than it would have. It runs two to three hours on a plateau instead of a peak, so nothing drops out from under you at the end. Pinene sits underneath all of it, adding an alertness that keeps thinking crisp.
The Aromatic Three
Leading with Limonene, then Pinene, and Terpinolene underneath. How this combination survives the move from flower to vapour or smoke is not a given. Held low, at 180-188°C, the pinene and terpinolene notes stay legible with limonene underneath them. Run it hotter, or burn it, and the three collapse into one — still pleasant, but without the separation that makes this cultivar worth paying attention to.
Suitability and Recommendations
Who does well with Industrial Plant? People growing on flat balconies from Cape Town to Johannesburg. Smallholders after a fast outdoor crop. Indoor growers short on headroom. Autoflowering genetics run to their own clock, so there is no light schedule to hold, no worrying about light leaks, and harvest lands 10-12 weeks from germination whatever the season is doing. It is rated intermediate, which in practice means a moderate learning curve that rewards attention without needing laboratory conditions. Sent nationwide in plain, unbranded packaging, with sourced grow data on every strain page.

Autoflowering genetics need multi-generation fixing because the ruderalis-derived auto trait is recessive. Industrial Plant sits at F5 — every plant in the pack autoflowers reliably and finishes inside a tight window.
Lock the autoflower trait in Industrial Plant through five generations of selection.
Chosen for sativa vigour, bud-to-leaf ratio and the distinctive terpene character of the original cut.
